Inkpen GIMP Brushes - updated

3px to 6px inkpen
7px to 13px inkpen
15px to 20px inkpen

I made these brushes to ink this drawing. The line width varies like a pen. You may have to play around with it (with the smallest pen, I sometimes had to tell the path to stroke twice to get it dark enough) but it should help you out.

IMPORTANT NOTES about these brushes!
To use these brushes, download and unzip the zip file. There are three .gih files in there. Move these files into your brushes folder (most likely somewhere around C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes on a Windows. On a Mac it's...a...similar path. Trial and error, you'll find it.) Open GIMP and click the triangle by the brushes palette and tell it to refresh your brushes. Voilà!

Also, these brushes work best if you are using the paths/bezier curves/pen tool. "Draw" the shape using that tool (find out how here: [link] ) and then set it to stroke with one of these brushes.

Edit:
One thing I've noticed about these inkpen brushes that makes them very...REALISTIC...is that on rare occasions the pen will BLOT, especially at the beginning/end of a line. I'm sorry about that...its pretty easy to go in with an eraser and get rid of it, but I'd like to apologize for the trouble.
